Hi, I'm Kayla – a New Zealand-born designer based in Paris. My journey in design grew naturally from my work as a classical singer, music educator, and digital creator. Over the years, I crafted my own branding, built no-code websites, managed social channels, and developed digital products for my artistic and educational projects – all of which laid a strong foundation in design thinking and visual communication.

In 2024, I chose to deepen my expertise and fully develop my skills in UX, UI, and product design. Along the way, I strengthened my abilities in graphic design, visual identity, and content creation, bringing strategy and structure to the creativity I had been applying for years.

The results were immediate: applying design principles to my websites, branding, and digital presence caused client enquiries and bookings for my music teaching work to skyrocket. I also realised that many classical music and arts/cultural sites struggle with UX, and that thoughtful design can dramatically improve engagement, accessibility, and audience connection.

Through these experiences, I’ve developed a passion for what lies at the heart of UX/UI: helping people connect with the content they need, in the way they need it, whether for my own projects or for arts and culture clients seeking to better reach their audiences.
